Dog Walking/Exercise

You know the importance of exercise for the overall health and well-being of your dog. Dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and energy levels need adequate exercise. Dogs are naturally roaming animals. They need and love to get outside and check out the world! Even a fenced yard can become just an extension of your dog's kennel.

Concerning DOGS would like the opportunity to partner with you in designing an exercise program customized to your needs and those of your best friend(s). Whether it is a daily walk around the neighborhood, a twice a week stroll along a favorite walking path, a trip to a dog park for a game of fetch, or any combination of activities, Concerning DOGS is ready to work with you to put together a program that meets the individual needs of your dog(s).

All dogs will be walked on leash and will be under the handler's control at all times. For single dog households, your dog will be walked individually unless you, the owner, would like company for your dog's walk. For households with more than one dog, they will be walked together, providing the Concerning DOGS representative is confident in his or her ability to control the dogs during the walk.

Concerning DOGS does not provide dog rehabilitation, but we are willing to work with, and have the patience for, dogs that have problems mastering the walk.

Concerning DOGS visits at least one dog park daily. For some of our clients, this is an excellent opportunity for your dog to socialize and exercise providing your dog is social and controllable. Concerning DOGS uses dog parks for controlled exercise (on/off leash walk, fetch, etc). We do not turn dogs loose and stand around drinking lattes and talking on the phone. Naturally, this option for exercise is NOT the best choice for every dog.

Whatever type of exercise regime you are looking for, give us a call and set up an appointment for a Concerning DOGS representative to visit you and your dog for a free consultation.
